The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson and the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, have congratulated the Muslim faithful in Ikorodu Federal Constituency on the occasion of 2026 end of fasting celebration.
In a released statement commemorating the celebration, Rep. Jimi Benson prayed for the blessings of the last 30 -day fasting to continue to strengthen his constituents.
“As we mark the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest congratulations to all our Muslim faithful in Ikorodu Federal Constituency and across Nigeria.

“May the lessons of sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and devotion learnt during this sacred period continue to guide our lives and strengthen our communities.
“May Allah (SWT) accept our fast, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us peace, prosperity, and renewed strength.
“Eid Mubarak!”
In his own felicitation, Omo’ba Aroyewun, also prayed to God to accept prayers and fasting of every Muslim faithful in the last 30 days.

”I commend your strength, your sacrifice, and your devotion throughout the sacred month of Ramadan. You stood firm in faith, you embraced discipline, and you answered the call of Allah with sincerity.
”Eid-ul-Fitr is more than a celebration, it is a declaration that we endured, we remained steadfast, and we emerged spiritually renewed.
”May Ubangidi Allah accept every fast, every prayer, and every act of worship offered in humility. Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)
The council boss further prayed for unity and prosperity in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

”As we mark this blessed day, may joy fill every home, peace reign in our communities, and may Allah grant us greater unity, prosperity, and continued guidance.
